About Us
Hāna Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center serving as the “safety net” provider for the medically underserved population of the remote Hāna District, located in Maui County. Services are provided to all people regardless of their ability to pay. A sliding fee scale is available for primary health care services according to federal guidelines. Hāna Health is a 501(c)(3) private, non-profit corporation, duly registered with the State of Hawaii and governed by a voluntary Board of Directors.
We provide a full range of primary health care services for the entire family with an emphasis on preventive care. Our mission is to improve the health and wellness of the Moku (district) of Hāna, Maui, particularly among Native Hawaiians and those who are underserved due to financial, cultural and geographical barriers. Hāna Fresh Farm provides organic produce and healthy foods that supports community wellness, nutrition and self- sufficiency.
Hāna Health is the only health care provider in the Hana district, serving the primary health care and emergent medical needs of residents and visitors alike.

ABOUT COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS (CHC)

At Community Health Centers (CHC), care starts with listening. We take time to get to know our patients, their lives, their needs, and their goals – and we build our care around that.
This approach is about something bigger. As the largest primary care network in the country, CHCs are united by a shared commitment to care that’s grounded in relationships. That’s why the care people receive here feels familiar and personal. It’s care that’s shaped by trust, built on connection, and delivered by a national movement rooted in every community we serve.
