Responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting practices of the organization, applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to prepare financial reports/statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures. Ensures the smooth operation of the accounting department combining leadership responsibilities with day to day accounting duties.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

1. Establishes and maintains appropriate financial controls for the organization.
   1. Develops and maintains proper accounting records, policies, procedures, and adequate internal controls.
   2. Maintains financial records in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
   3. Assures proper handling, control, and accountability of Hana Health assets.
   4. Develop and maintain employee compensation records, including payroll, earned time off, health benefits, retirement, and payroll taxes.
   5. Resolves accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
   6. Performs bank reconciliations.
   7. Reviews status of third-party reimbursement claims.
2. Prepares reports of financial information for internal use.
   1. Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare monthly statements.
   2. Prepares financial management reports.
3. Maintains the organization’s standing with external individuals and agencies.
   1. Makes certain that all financial reporting deadlines are met.
   2. Ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
   3. Maintains relationships with auditors and auditing staff as necessary.
   4. Provides records, analyses and other information required for external financial audits.
4. Supervises and trains accounting staff and assures they meet performance requirements.

As the Executive Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting executive operations, managing critical projects, and ensuring efficient communication and coordination across internal and external stakeholders. This position requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Executive Support: Support the Executive Director’s schedule, communications, travel, and meeting logistics.
• Board Coordination: Organize Board meetings, prepare minutes, and support board- related communications.
• Project Management: Support organization-wide initiatives and strategic projects, including preparation of grant applications.
• Public Relations & Marketing: Assist in developing and implementing marketing and social media strategies, website management, and community outreach.
• Administrative Leadership: Handle office administration tasks and special projects not assigned to other staff.

Works in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to deliver patient/family-focused care. Provides the full range of primary medical care for patients of all ages, including urgent/emergent medical services. Call is required.

Provide comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of behavioral health clients, and effective treatment planning to assist clients in successfully achieving goals. Participates as a member of an integrated primary care team in developing care management processes such as the use of guidelines, disease management techniques, case management, and patient education to improve self-management of chronic disease.
